We (Lorrie and Dan Jergenson) live in Southeast Minnesota (rural La Crescent) and have been showing and breeding dogs since 1999. I (Lorrie) started with training, showing, and breeding Dachshunds and eventually added Havanese and Lowchens. I have attained numerous championships with dogs of all three breeds.
We breed only champions to champions and in particular breed for health, temperament and type. Whether our puppies are placed in show homes or pet homes, our breeding standards are always the same.
I am a responsible and ethical breeder/exhibitor of Havanese, Lowchen and Dachshunds. My goal as a breeder is to offer quality, health tested puppies with correct temperament for either show or pet. The parents of the puppies are from champion dams and sires.
I sell all puppies going to pet homes on a spay/neuter contract only. Show puppies are sold with a show contract. There is no price difference between "pet" or "show" as they come from the same litter.
We are members of the Havanese Club of America, Northstar Havanese Club, St. Croix Havanese Club, Lowchen Club of America, Minnesota Dachshund Club and am currently President of the Coulee Kennel Club (La Crosse, Wisconsin).
All of our adult and puppies live in the home with us and are part of our family. We wouldn't have it any other way. Feel free to contact us with any question that you have.
